Biography

Dr. Muhammad Arslan Akbar is Lecturer in Department of Breeding and Genetics, Faculty of Animal Production and Technology, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur–Pakistan since December 07, 2018.
He has completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014 from Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan and stood at 1st position in academia of his class throughout the degree of DVM.
Dr. Muhammad Arslan Akbar has received his M. Phil (Animal Breeding and Genetics) degree in 2016 from department of Livestock Production, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. In his M. Phil research, he has worked on “Morphological structure of Thalli sheep through principal component analysis of body measurements.

  • Participation in the Training entitled “Application of SAS Statistical Techniques in Animal Production and Veterinary Sciences” at CUVAS, Bahawalpur held on May 02, 2019.
  • Organized a special lecture at CUVAS Bahawalpur on the eve of world DNA day on 25th April 2019 entitled as “How much DNA result are reliable in science”.
  • Participation in the Training entitled “In-Service Competency Enhancement Training for Young University Faculty” at CUVAS, Bahawalpur held on April 25-26, 2019.
  • Workshop on “Capacity building of young researchers”  held at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Ravi Campus by Department of Poultry Production (June 15-18, 2015).
  • Participation in a National Conference “Southern Punjab Poultry and Agriculture Conference” of 2013 and 14th Feb 2014.
  • Participation in a National Conference “Strategies to improve Red Meat production in Pakistan” at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan on 13th October 2010.
