Independence Day Message by Vice Chancellor


On the occasion of Youm-e-Azadi, it gives me great pleasure to express my warmest greetings to all citizens of Pakistan.
We pay tribute to all of the women and men, In celebrating the emergence of Pakistan, first among them the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, whose vision, courage and determination made this achievement possible. This day provides us a prospect to reaffirm our obligation to the ideals of our Quaid and to the hopes of Dr. Allama Mohammad Iqbal who wanted to see the Muslim Umma flourishing in a separate homeland without any fear of oppression and prejudice.
Definitely, we are grateful to our ancestors for their immeasurable sacrifices for the cause of freedom and pride of their future generations.
Let us on this Special day rededicate ourselves to those ideals and also to reevaluate as to what extent we have been able to achieve those ideals.
