Biography

Dr. Omer Naseer is Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Medicine, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur and holds D.V.M., MPhil, Ph.D. (UVAS) degrees in Veterinary Clinical Medicine. He conducted significant part of his Ph.D. research at Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, University of Minnesota, USA and published peer-reviewed papers from his research. 

Areas of Interest

• Aflatoxin B1 identification in animal feed, and its effects on animal health
• Rotavirus identification and molecular characterization
• Mycological studies of different Fungal spp. causing animal diseases.
• Avian Medicine

TRAINIGS AND COURSES

• Six months training at the College of Veterinary Population Medicine, Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, University of Minnesota, USA
• One week workshop on Advance Diagnostics & prevention of Poultry Disease at UDL, UVAS Lahore.
• One week workshop on Postmortem & Lab Techniques at PRI, Rawalpindi.
• One month training of management at UVAS, Lahore.
