Five steps from application to enrolment

The same route applies to every programme; only the entry-test step differs.

Requirements

Eligibility and entry tests

An entry test is required only for the DVM, MPhil and PhD programmes. Applicants to any other BS programme do not sit a test.

PhD candidates below the CGPA threshold may be admitted after completing 9–12 credit hours of Level 7 coursework with a 3.0 GPA.

Documents to bring on test day

  • Matriculation certificate or result card
  • FSc / intermediate certificate or result card
  • CNIC (or B-Form for candidates under 18)
  • The paid fee voucher slip

Bring one set of originals. Candidates without the required documents may not be permitted to sit the test.

Results

Merit lists & results

Merit and waiting lists are published after each entry test. The open merit list is displayed once the cumulative DVM test results are in.

Only if you are applying to DVM, MPhil or PhD. Applicants to any other BS programme are admitted on academic merit without a test.
No. Existing applications are being migrated to the new system. You will be notified by email once your account is ready. If you cannot log in, wait for that email rather than creating a second application.
Yes. Candidates who want to improve their first-test marks, or who did not pass, may pay the re-sit fee and appear in the next scheduled test. Both results are considered cumulatively before the open merit list is displayed.
Fees are deposited by bank submission slip into the university account, or generated through the online fee portal at finance.cuvas.edu.pk. Keep the paid voucher — you must present it on test day and at enrolment.
Yes. The Transport Office runs buses from the city on test days; the published route sheet lists pick-up points and times. See the notices above for the current route PDF.
