The university held its first convocation on 12–13 February 2025.

CUVAS held its inaugural convocation over two days, 12 and 13 February 2025 — the first cohort of graduands to receive degrees since the university was chartered under the CUVAS Act 2018.
Graduands were drawn from all three faculties — Animal Production and Technology, Veterinary Sciences and Bio-Sciences — with separate rosters for medalists and for PhD degree holders.

Graduands paid a refundable security deposit of Rs. 2,000 per gown plus a Rs. 350 rental. The security was returned once the gown was handed back after the ceremony.
Four bus routes served the event on both days, departing from points including University Chowk and Airport Chowk, reaching campus between 7:50 and 8:30 am, with return departures at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
The first cohort
Seven years after the CUVAS Act 2018 chartered the university, its first graduands crossed the stage.

Degree and transcript applications are handled by the Controller of Examinations.
